Membership Policy
Indiana Naturists, Inc.

1. Purpose
This Membership Policy establishes procedures for application, review, approval, maintenance, and revocation of membership in Indiana Naturists, Inc., a private membership-based social club organized under Section 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code.

2. Private Club Status
Indiana Naturists, Inc. operates as a private social club. Participation in recurring club activities is limited to approved members in good standing.
Membership is not automatic and is granted at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

3. Application Process
All prospective members must:
1. Submit a completed membership application through the organization’s official process.
2. Affirm agreement with the organization’s Bylaws and Code of Conduct.
3. Provide accurate and complete identifying information.
4. Accurately disclose current relationship status. If married or in a committed relationship, applicants must affirm that their spouse or partner is aware of and supports participation in the organization.
Misrepresentation or falsification of information provided in the application, including relationship status or partner awareness, may result in denial, suspension, or revocation of membership.
Incomplete or inaccurate applications may be declined without further review.

4. AANR Membership Requirement
Indiana Naturists, Inc. is a 100% club affiliated with the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR).
All members of Indiana Naturists must maintain current membership with AANR as a condition of eligibility and continued good standing.
Applicants may:
• Hold AANR membership through Indiana Naturists, Inc., or
• Maintain AANR membership independently or through another AANR-affiliated club.
Proof of current AANR membership may be required prior to approval, renewal, or continued participation.
Failure to maintain active AANR membership may result in suspension or termination of membership in Indiana Naturists.

5. Review Procedure
Applications shall be reviewed by the President or another Director designated by the Board.
The review process may include:
• Verification of applicant identity
• Review of publicly available records
• Review of publicly accessible social media accounts
• Evaluation of alignment with the organization’s purpose, safety standards, and community values
The Board of Directors retains ultimate authority over all membership decisions and may approve, deny, suspend, or revoke membership by majority vote.
Approval of membership is not guaranteed.

6. Guests
Members in good standing may invite a guest to attend one club event.
Guests must comply with the organization’s Code of Conduct.
After one guest attendance, individuals must apply for membership in order to attend future events.
Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.

7. Dues and Good Standing
Membership dues shall be established by the Board of Directors and approved by the membership at the annual meeting.
A member shall be considered in good standing when:
• Dues are current
• Active AANR membership is maintained
• No disciplinary action is pending

8. Discipline and Revocation
The Board of Directors may suspend or revoke membership for:
• Violation of the Code of Conduct
• Conduct inconsistent with the organization’s purpose
• Behavior that jeopardizes the safety, harmony, or reputation of the club
• Misrepresentation or falsification of information provided in the membership application
In addition, the Board of Directors retains the authority, in its sole discretion and by majority vote, to deny, suspend, or revoke membership when it determines such action to be in the best interests of the organization.
Decisions of the Board regarding membership status shall be final.
The Board is not required to disclose detailed reasoning for its decision beyond a general determination that the action serves the best interests of the organization.

9. Amendments
This Membership Policy may be amended by majority vote of the Board of Directors.
